What's there in this movie?.

Due to the corona outbreak, many of the low budget movies were released in OTT platforms, this is the first Malayalam movie released in OTT platforms like Amazon prime in recent times.

Sufiyum Sujatayum is a melodramatic love story between Sufi and Sujata, we can know this from the name itself.but the difference is it told with good music and songs.

The main strengthening factor of this movie is fascinating clarinet music by M. Jayachandran, made the movie, a musical journal one.

Aditi Rao Hydar, done a well-acted role as Sujata, Dev Mohan played an okayish role as Sufi.

There is no that much importance for Jayasurya role, it's just 15-20mins, the full first half and half of the second half is covered by the Aditi Rao and Dev Mohan combo itself, this made his role something not much important.

After the music the satisfactory thing is the cinematography that pictured many beautiful scenes of Kerala, it is enhanced by the good lighting works. the dialogues are also a melodramatic one with few poetic words.

What's not there in this movie?.

Though the narrative is nonlinear, the screenplay goes very slow-moving one, that judged the patience of the audience.

In the starting, the story seems to be different but afterwards, the story goes dull because this is an old love story like lovers separated because of their religion but they created this movie with few tinted works.

Good characterisation but the execution of that characters is not much satisfying one, it ends without much satisfaction.

Star performance:

It fits to Aditi Rao Hydari.

Because of her good performance as Sujata.

The storyline of this movie is, it starts with the death of the heroine's ex-lover, they separated because of their religion.

The heroine and her husband after knowing this, came to India for funeral rites, in between these scenes the story travels in a flashback of heroine's love story and why they separated.

If you are fond of watching love the story that told with music and dance, this is the movie for you.
